If you're using Word 2007 or later, Save As the document in the Word 97 - 2003 (.doc) format - NOT the Word 2007 (.docx) format. For example, if you have a database which includes a "FirstName" field, you might name personnel photos "John.jpg," "Mary.jpg," and so forth. The key to variable images is to have a collection of photo or image files in a folder on your computer or network, and to name the images files the same as the contents of a field in the database. IncludePicture finicky and won't work if you so much as breathe on it the wrong way. Try to follow the instructions very, very precisely. I have gone back to saving a smaller version of the file. I delete the attachment or unclick the re-size button the email will send just fine. I used this feature a lot in 2013 - it is still there in 2016 BUT, in my experience, if I click that If you attach a photo, the click the file tab (top left corner) there is a single click option that says "Resize large images when I send this message". I got a response asking "What version of Outlook are you using and the words "Outlook 2016" were in the title of the question. I asked a similar question three weeks ago Aldo. Other than resizing photos and saving them as a separate file beforehand, how do I attach and send photos using Outlook 2016?ĭoes anyone have any help on this? I replied in response to a Microsoft Engineer's questions regarding my issue but never heard back from him.
